Working from the logical and linear side of her brain for most of her life, Mary made an unexpected leap into the visual and intuitive side. Innovative in her techniques, Mary engages various ways of putting color on surfaces. She works primarily with acrylic and alcohol ink producing abstract and landscape fine art.
In an exploratory and promising phase Mary also captures images from within the art she creates. From these “mother pictures” Mary discovers “offspring” images focusing on color and form which are available as prints in various sizes.
Mary is a member of the New Zone Gallery collective, a Eugene art collective focusing on experimental visual arts. Her works are often are on display at the gallery at 22 W.7th in Eugene, Oregon.
